Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef steak tips
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Velveeta cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add Velveeta cheese and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return the cooked steak tips to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the drained penne pasta and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
