Golden Baked Brie with Caramelized Apples & Thyme

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
  • 2 medium apples, cored and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, thyme, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes until the apples are caramelized and tender.
  4. Place the Brie wheel on a baking sheet or in a small baking dish.
  5. Spoon the caramelized apple mixture over the top of the Brie.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and gooey.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
