- 1 (8-ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
- 2 medium apples, cored and sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, thyme, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes until the apples are caramelized and tender.
- Place the Brie wheel on a baking sheet or in a small baking dish.
- Spoon the caramelized apple mixture over the top of the Brie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and gooey.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
