Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the Brie wheel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, thyme, and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes until the apples are caramelized and tender.
- Spoon the caramelized apples over the Brie wheel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers or baguette slices.
Notes
For best results, use fresh thyme and crisp apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp. This recipe pairs well with wine.
