Gooey Brownie Pie

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey. Let cool before serving.
