Gooey Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Decadent bars with layers of caramel, chocolate, and a crunchy base for the perfect sweet treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line an 8Γ—8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped nuts and mini marshmallows.
  5. Return to oven for 5 minutes until marshmallows are lightly toasted. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
