Grinch Shots

Festive green jello shots flavored with peppermint schnapps and vanilla vodka, topped with whipped cream and a red heart sprinkle for a Grinch-themed treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups water.
  • .50 ounces unflavored powdered gelatin.
  • ⅛ teaspoon green gel food coloring.
  • ⅓ cup peppermint schnapps.
  • ⅓ cup vanilla vodka.
  • Whipped cream for garnish.
  • Sprinkle hearts for garnish.

Instructions

  1. Place shot glasses or plastic cups on rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Add water and gelatin powder to medium pot, let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat over medium-low until gelatin dissolves, do not boil.
  4. Remove from heat, add food coloring and whisk to combine.
  5. Stir in peppermint schnapps and vanilla vodka until blended.
  6. Pour into cups using measuring cup or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours until set.
  7. Top with whipped cream and red heart sprinkle before serving.

Notes

Can use lime jello package instead of unflavored gelatin.
If using plain vodka, add 1/4 cup sugar for sweetness.
Peppermint schnapps can be omitted if desired.
