Herb-Infused Alfredo Chicken

A creamy Alfredo sauce infused with fresh herbs, served with tender chicken.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Mix in chopped basil and parsley, then return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
  7. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to infuse flavors.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Pairs well with pasta or vegetables.
