- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Mix in chopped basil and parsley, then return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
- Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to infuse flavors.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Pairs well with pasta or vegetables.
