Herb-Infused Alfredo Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside; in the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, basil, and oregano; simmer until sauce thickens.
  5. Slice the chicken and add back to the sauce.
  6. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, then toss with the sauce.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
