Herb-Infused Alfredo Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like basil and parsley), chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside; in the same skillet, add garlic and herbs, sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer until sauce thickens.
  5. Slice chicken and add back to the sauce, stirring to coat.
  6. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and toss with the sauce mixture.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Pairs well with garlic bread.
