Herb-Infused Alfredo Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add chopped basil and parsley, stirring to combine.
  8. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the sauce.
  9. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, then drain and add to the sauce mixture.
  10. Toss everything together and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best flavor, use freshly chopped herbs. Pairs well with garlic bread.
