- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add chopped basil and parsley, stirring to combine.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Pairs well with pasta or vegetables.
