- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, basil, and thyme until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet, coating with the sauce.
- Serve hot, optionally over pasta.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
