Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup prepared basil pesto

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts for rolling (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Stir in the pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil until well combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Shape the mixture into a log on a piece of plastic wrap.
  5. Roll the log in chopped nuts if desired, then wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  6. Serve with crackers or sliced vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
