Holiday Meatballs with Cranberry Orange Sauce

Juicy meatballs coated in a tangy cranberry orange sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, orange juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until smooth and heated through.
  6. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce, stirring gently to coat. Serve warm.
