Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add yeast mixture, egg, and softened butter to the dry ingredients; knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough, spread with filling, and roll into a log.
- Slice into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
