Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • Filling: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 1/4 cup softened butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add yeast mixture, egg, and softened butter to the dry ingredients; knead until smooth.
  4. Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough, spread with filling, and roll into a log.
  6. Slice into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
