Holiday Macaron Trees with Strawberry Matcha White Chocolate Ganache

Festive macaron trees filled with a strawberry matcha white chocolate ganache, perfect for holidays.

Ingredients

  • 200g almond flour
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 75g egg whites
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 100g white chocolate
  • 50g strawberries, pureed
  • Food coloring (green for trees)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
  3. Whip egg whites until foamy, then add granulated sugar gradually to form stiff peaks.
  4. Fold in the sifted mixture and matcha powder until combined.
  5. Pipe the batter into tree shapes on the baking sheets.
  6. Let the piped macarons rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, then cool completely.
  8. For ganache: Melt white chocolate and mix with strawberry puree.
  9. Assemble the macaron trees by sandwiching with ganache.

Notes

Ensure macarons are fully cooled before assembling to prevent melting the ganache.
