- 200g almond flour
- 200g powdered sugar
- 75g egg whites
- 50g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 100g white chocolate
- 50g strawberries, pureed
- Food coloring (green for trees)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- Whip egg whites until foamy, then add granulated sugar gradually to form stiff peaks.
- Fold in the sifted mixture and matcha powder until combined.
- Pipe the batter into tree shapes on the baking sheets.
- Let the piped macarons rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, then cool completely.
- For ganache: Melt white chocolate and mix with strawberry puree.
- Assemble the macaron trees by sandwiching with ganache.
Notes
Ensure macarons are fully cooled before assembling to prevent melting the ganache.
