Honey Pineapple Chicken

A sweet and tangy chicken dish with honey-glazed pineapple for a tropical twist.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Add pineapple chunks to the skillet, then pour the honey mixture over the chicken and pineapple.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked.
