- Food coloring for icing

Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, then gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic and chill for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough and cut into present shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely, then decorate with icing and food coloring.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Add sprinkles for extra holiday flair.
