- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and spread the lemon-basil mixture evenly over each fillet.
- Roll each salmon fillet tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Place the rolls in a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crispier texture, broil the rolls for the last 2 minutes. Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
