Luscious Walnut Banana Caramel Cake

A moist and flavorful banana cake with crunchy walnuts and a rich caramel drizzle.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
