- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Add the chopped pecans, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the cheese balls for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Serve chilled on a platter.
Notes
These can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Roll in additional nuts for extra crunch if desired.
