Mini Christmas Cheese Balls Appetizer

Delicious bite-sized cheese balls perfect for holiday parties, made with cream cheese and cheddar.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined.
  2. Add the chopped pecans, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the cheese balls for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Serve chilled on a platter.

Notes

These can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Roll in additional nuts for extra crunch if desired.
