Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers

A fun twist on classic cheeseburgers, using crispy tater tots as the bun and filled with juicy beef and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 24 frozen tater tots
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, quartered
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
  3. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Place a quarter slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
  4. Mix ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl to create a sauce.
  5. Assemble the mini burgers by placing a cheesy patty between two tater tots. Add a dollop of sauce and pickles if desired. Secure with toothpicks if needed.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
