For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 frozen tater tots
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, quartered
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup diced pickles (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Place a quarter slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Mix ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl to create a sauce.
- Assemble the mini burgers by placing a cheesy patty between two tater tots. Add a dollop of sauce and pickles if desired. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
