Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers

A fun and delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers, using crispy tater tots as the bun.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 package frozen tater tots (32 oz)
  • 4 slices American cheese, cut into small squares
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake tater tots according to package instructions until crispy.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
  3. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Place a square of cheese on each patty and let it melt slightly.
  5. Mix ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl to create a sauce.
  6. Assemble the mini burgers by placing a patty between two tater tots. Add a drizzle of sauce, shredded lettuce, and diced pickles.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
