  • 1 cupmushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1small onion, finely diced
  • 1 cupshredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cupbreadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1large egg
  • 1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, mushrooms, onion, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  5. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra kick of flavor, consider brushing the loaf with ketchup before baking.
