Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and onion seasoned with salt and pepper until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease if necessary.Sprinkle the beef with taco seasoning and garlic powder, then stir in the rice, beef broth, corn, tomato sauce, and salsa.Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the rice is tender.Top with shredded cheese and cover for 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted.
