Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry sheet and shape it into a circle on the baking sheet, overlapping the edges to form a wreath.
  3. Arrange the sliced pears evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese and chopped hazelnuts over the pears, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
