- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut into 6 equal strips.
- On each strip, layer pear slices and brie cheese slices along the center.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and roll into a rose shape.
- Place the roses on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- In a small saucepan, warm honey and thyme over low heat for 2 minutes.
- Remove roses from oven and drizzle with the honeyed thyme glaze before serving.
Notes
Best served warm; ensure pears are ripe for optimal sweetness. Pairs well with white wine.
