Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a tart pan.
  3. Arrange the sliced pears in the crust and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  4. Drizzle honey over the pears and sprinkle with cinnamon and lemon juice.
  5. Brush the edges of the crust with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute the egg wash with almond milk.
