- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a tart pan.
- Arrange the sliced pears in the crust and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
- Drizzle honey over the pears and sprinkle with cinnamon and lemon juice.
- Brush the edges of the crust with beaten egg.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute the egg wash with almond milk.
