- 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle chopped bacon over the asparagus.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until asparagus is tender and bacon is crispy.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with blue cheese before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and add extra cheese or nuts.
