Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle chopped bacon over the asparagus.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until asparagus is tender and bacon is crispy.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with blue cheese before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and add extra cheese or nuts.
