Ingredients

- 4 sausages
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 500g potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 200g cabbage, shredded
- 100ml cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp flour
- 200ml beef stock
Instructions
- Cook sausages in a pan until browned, then set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.
- Stir in flour and beef stock to make the gravy; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and cream.
- Steam cabbage and mix into the mashed potatoes.
- Serve sausages with gravy over the creamy cabbage mashed potatoes.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute sausages with plant-based alternatives. Ensure gravy thickens properly before serving.
