Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 200ml beef stock
- 500g shortcrust pastry
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large pan, cook the onion and garlic until softened.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beef stock. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the pastry and line pie tins with it.
- Fill the pastry with the meat mixture and cover with more pastry.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
Notes
These pies are best served warm with a side of mashed potatoes.
