Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined and frothy.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.
- Gently lift the edges with a spatula and tilt the pan to let uncooked egg flow underneath.
- Once the omelette is mostly set, add any optional fillings like cheese to one side.
- Fold the omelette in half and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fully set and fluffy.
- Slide onto a plate and serve immediately.
Notes
For an even fluffier texture, separate the egg whites and beat them until stiff peaks form before folding back into the yolks.
