Sizzling Beef and Onions

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef and caramelized onions.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add beef slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Add onions and continue cooking for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
