- 2β3 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the slow cooker:
- Place the beef roast in the slow cooker.
- Mix the glaze:
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour and cook:
- Pour the glaze mixture over the roast. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until beef is fork tender.
- Serve:
- Remove roast from slow cooker, slice or shred, and drizzle with remaining balsamic glaze from the slow cooker before serving.
