Sparkling Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Truffles

Decadent chocolate truffles infused with pumpkin spice and coated in sparkling sugar for a festive treat.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice blend
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sparkling sugar or coarse sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  2. Heat cream in a small saucepan until steaming (do not boil). Pour over chocolate and let sit for 2 minutes.
  3. Add pumpkin spice and vanilla, then stir until smooth. Chill mixture for 2 hours until firm.
  4. Using a melon baller or teaspoon, scoop and roll mixture into 1-inch balls.
  5. Roll truffles in sparkling sugar, then dust lightly with cocoa powder.
  6. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
