A flavorful stir-fry dish combining tender chicken, crisp napa cabbage, and translucent glass noodles, perfect for a quick meal.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 medium head of napa cabbage, shredded
  • 4 ounces glass noodles (bean thread variety)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the glass noodles in warm water for 10 minutes until softened; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic and shredded napa cabbage; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the cabbage wilts.
  5. Mix in the soaked glass noodles, soy sauce, and sesame oil; stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or mushrooms. Ensure noodles are fully softened to avoid a chewy texture.
