Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast

A decadent breakfast treat featuring creamy cheesecake filling and fresh strawberries stuffed inside golden French toast.

For the Crust:

  • 8 slices thick-cut brioche or challah bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread. Top with strawberry slices and cover with remaining bread slices to make sandwiches.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  6. Cook sandwiches in skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with maple syrup and additional strawberries if desired.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
