Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef with cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, green beans, and half of the shredded cheese.
  4. Spread the mixture in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with frozen tater tots and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are golden and bubbly.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option or add onions and garlic for extra flavor. This casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated until ready to bake.
