- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef with cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, green beans, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Spread the mixture in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with frozen tater tots and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are golden and bubbly.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option or add onions and garlic for extra flavor. This casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated until ready to bake.
