For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices bread or buns
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
- Preheat a separate skillet or griddle over medium heat. Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place a slice of bread butter-side down on the skillet. Top with a generous portion of the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef. Cover with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
