Ultimate Cheesy Ground Beef Melt

A deliciously cheesy and savory ground beef melt that’s perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices bread or buns
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened.
  3. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
  4. Preheat a separate skillet or griddle over medium heat. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  5. Place a slice of bread butter-side down on the skillet. Top with a generous portion of the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef. Cover with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
  7. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
