- 1 wheel (8 ounces) of brie cheese
- 2 medium apples, cored and sliced
- 1 cup fresh grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, toss the sliced apples, halved grapes, and cranberries with olive oil, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the fruit mixture on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fruits are tender and slightly caramelized.
- While the fruits are roasting, place the brie wheel on a baking dish.
- Once the fruits are done, remove them from the oven and spoon them over the brie.
- Return the brie with fruits to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the brie is soft and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with crackers or bread.
Notes
For a festive touch, add a sprinkle of chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts before serving. Ensure fruits are fresh for the best flavor.
