Winter Wonderland Chocolate Chip Cookies

Deliciously soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies with a festive winter twist.

For the Crust:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
