A decadent one-pan pasta dish combining sweet barbecue sauce, crispy bacon, and creamy alfredo with smoky garlic parmesan flavors.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sweet barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
  3. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to the skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and sweet barbecue sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon.
  6. Toss everything together until well coated. Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, use smoked paprika in the chicken seasoning.
