Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 20 mins)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- salt and black pepper
- For the Garlic Herb Butter:
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
- Thread Skewers: Alternate steak cubes and jumbo shrimp onto skewers. Season generously all over with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear: Heat a grill pan or cast-iron skillet over high heat with 1 tbsp oil. Sear skewers for 3-4 minutes per side until steak is seared and shrimp is opaque.
- Baste: During the final minute of cooking, baste heavily with melted garlic herb butter. Serve immediately warm.
- Pro Tip: Cut the steak into uniform 1-inch cubes so they cook at the exact same pace as the jumbo shrimp without overcooking either protein.
