Instructions
- For the Lamb Patties:
- 1. In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, salt, pepper, and crumbled feta. Mix gently until just combined.
- 2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form into small patties, pressing them slightly thinner in the center to ensure even cooking.
- 3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- 4. Remove patties from grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
- For the Tzatziki Sauce:
- 5. In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- To Assemble:
- 6. Toast slider buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Place a lamb patty on each bun bottom, top with a dollop of tzatziki, sliced tomato, red onion, and a fresh mint leaf. Close with bun top.
Notes
For best flavor, let the lamb mixture rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before forming patties. If you don’t have a grill, these patties can also be cooked in a skillet over medium-high heat.
