- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp bubble gum flavoring
- 1–2 drops pink food coloring (optional)
- For the Coating:
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- For Garnish (optional):
- Extra flavored sugar dust
Instructions
- Melt the gum base in a heat-safe bowl using a double boiler until fully soft and pliable.
- Stir in corn syrup until fully combined and smooth.
- Add bubble gum flavoring and mix evenly.
- Add powdered sugar gradually, kneading until a dough-like consistency forms.
- Lightly dust a clean surface with powdered sugar and transfer the gum mixture.
- Knead until smooth, adding more powdered sugar if too sticky.
- Divide into small portions and shape into balls or logs.
- Coat each piece lightly with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
- Let rest for 20–30 minutes before chewing.
Notes
This bubble gum is best consumed within a few days. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
