- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken in a single layer and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and green beans. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce coats everything.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, garnish with fresh parsley or lemon zest. You can use chicken thighs if preferred.
