- 2 large ripe mangoes
- 1 small red onion
- 2 jalapenos (adjust spice level as desired)
- 3 tablespoons fresh minced cilantro
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4–1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the mangoes and chop them into small cubes. Finely dice the red onion and prepare the jalapenos by removing seeds if you prefer less heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped mangoes, diced red onion, and jalapenos.
- Add the minced cilantro, lime juice, honey, and cayenne pepper. Toss gently until well mixed.
- Taste your salsa and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
